Recommend an excellent Delay Pedal

Catalinbread Belle Epoch. It mimics an old echoplex which is all over old reggae, but it doesn't have the downsides like old parts, wonky electronics and mechanics and a hugely inflated price. Plus it has a very clear repeat circuit, but just dirty enough to add flavor. Both of these characteristics make it really great for bass.

Line 6 echopark is very cool. I had mine on my guitar board but stuck it on my bass board and I'm keeping it there. The tape mode is just killer sounding and it also does analog and digital and has tap tempo built in.

TC Flashback, normal or mini. Any type of delay you could think of: tape, analogue, digital, modulated, reverse, and loads of other stuff, all facilitated by TC's Toneprint which lets you tweak any parameter you can think of. You can also turn of the delay effect completely and just use it as a chorus or flanger, since it uses the same algorithms as TC's Vortex and Corona. And of course you can download artist Toneprints if you would rather go the ready-made route. I know nothing of skapunk/reggae, but the TC Flashback delay is an amazing pedal, reasonably cheap, and will definitely be able to conjure up some useable sounds.

I perform a lot of reggae, own and use all of these.

BOSS DD-7 has so many options, including tempo, a looping function, and what I use most for reggae is the reverse setting.

Idiot Box Dimension-X has some cool dirty sounds, and a modulation footswitch for more of a trippy phase sound. Designed to have lots of range for self-oscillating before it gets too loud & wild, which is an effect I like for dub.

Solid Gold FX Electroman is a good delay with the unique feature of a separate momentary switch to self-oscillate without having to bend down and turn a knob, while your original signal still passes through.

MXR Carbon Copy is killer for a small, straight-up delay.

I've owned some fancier delays like the Strymon El Capistan which was awesome but I never tapped into its potential. I prefer a simple good sounding delay as it turns out, thus my above recommendation

The only thing the El Cap does that keeps it on my board is it's high pass filter.
I just need a good sounding delay with tap tempo and a high pass filter (the key to actually using delay on bass, IMO) and the El Cap ticks all those boxes.

another vote for the TC Flashback ... with TonePrint, you can program it to taste ...!!!!

with the full size ... you get many delay models , plus your own TonePrint patch ..

and the full size can be run in stereo ... if that is ever needed ..!
