Restoration Project - Squier Vista Musicmaster Bass

Great find and great work making it looking back to his original colour.

I have a surf green one , I had a pink too time ago and I still have a body (waiting for a neck) painted black.

The key with these basses is how much they weight. The light ones doesn't sound too good, but those very heavy have a great punch and a solid sound. That's why I keep the surf green one.

I don't know anything about "light" ones but I do know my Squier is at least 1 lb heavier than my Fender MM. And being an old bass player who's had cervical spine surgery that is noticeable. It's the reason that one sees so little playing time, no matter how much I like it.
