My Squire CV 70s P bass arrived today. So I opened the box

This was an open box PAS through eBay but I don't think it was ever unwrapped from the factory......until now

They come packed really well from factory-my 40th Anniversary Squier P was also packed like that, sent from Fender themselves. Neck needed adjustment as *always*, otherwise no issues whatsoever with neck (and frets), body, etc. Mine survived egregious FedEx mistreatment, with a huge hole in the box near the upper left horn and neck, but whatever did that missed the bass, and there were zero problems (have had FedEx kill the headstock of a new bass before.)

People will diss these Squiers for not being "cheap enough", but they can be amazing! Glad you are happy with yours. :bassist:

Squier bass can be amazing on special deal from Fender direct. Yes, price point.

For me, the word of Amazing praise only happened on early day CIC Squier CV line with only 299 street price.
