Satisfied? No...............Blown away? Yes.

Very well packed! I too enjoy taking multiple pictures of boxes, fillers, tape , stuffing, bubble wrap, shipping labels, country of origin stickers. Even video the UPS truck arriving and leaving. The tiny bits of static stryrofoam sticking to everything is just a thrill. noBody, and I mean nobodie packs merchandise as well as the good people of Indokneeshza.

Very nice indeed!

I didn't have quite the same luck when I snatched up the same model from PAS, mine wasn't "open box" (which we all know is new) but I appear to have gotten the intern overseeing my fretwork. Was by far the worst fretwork on any instrument I've owned.

But, once I gave it the TLC it needed (albeit as my first time filing frets it's super ugly) it plays great and sounds absolutely amazing! I mean, the freaking tone on this thing is outrageous for the price. It's the most woody sounding P-bass I've played (which I love). It has absolutely everything I could want tonally from a Precision, and looks killer to boot.

Congrats on the purchase, glad you got one that was just right out of the box, enjoy!

But, I haven't figured out how to purchase a specific Chinese version. They have the same part number as the Indonesian version, so it's most likely luck of the draw when you buy one. I would imagine with the current tax situation, there are far more Indonesian made basses than Chinese out there.
Sweetwater posts a bunch of pictures of the ones they have available, look at the back of the headstock shots they'll show you the serial number and country of manufacture. I'm sure if you call them and specify you want a Chinese built they can do that assuming they have them in stock. FWIW I have Chinese, Indo, and now MIM and really the quality amongst all has been equivalently good.
