Dude that bass is freaking METAL looking!!!

LOVE that black headstock and the block inlays.

Wish there were more black vintage looking basses out there...I get that people also want sea foam green or orange, but you should have an easier time being able to get a road worn looking bass in black IMO...

Thanks! \m/

The blue (purple?) jazz, is that a Marty Bell refinishing?
Purple and it's factory. I have a few by Marty and he's great but it's a Fender FSR Adam Clayton signature. They did a P bass too but the Jazz numbers were smaller and it even came with a black/white hounds tooth print case so double fun. I just have a thing for flake.

Nothing fancy, just a 2017 MiM Geddy Lee Jazz. It was bought because it had a maple fingerboard and a Fender version of the Bad Ass bridge. It's been modded since then with Seymore Duncan 1/4 Pounder PUPs, a 920D stacked control electronics, a fancy pick guard and tungsten weights added to the back of the headstock, under the tuners to remove a dead spot on the E string third fret.

I sure would like to try one of these .Those slanted blocks are messing with my eyes!! o_O

LOL, you've found the perfect emoji for looking at fanned frets! Dingwalls are very well-made machines, and they sound great. But yeah, really hard to find in shops - you might look for TBers in your area who own one to try out. The frets are easier to play than to look at... it's an adjustment but not as much as you might imagine!
