Double Bass Shostakovich 5

I had the first rehearsal of the Shostakovich last night and reposted the part this morning. I fixed about a dozen errors and put in some bowings and fingerings. The fixed part is here:

There is an error in bar 28 of the last movement. It writes out:

E A C A C A

But in the score it says:

E A D A C A

Just thought you should know. I don't want to sound like a snob or anything. Just a huge Shostakovich fan!

Does anyone have opinions (on TB? Really?) on fingerings for the 3rd movement? Crossing strings? Staying on one string etc.
We start rehearsals Monday (my preference is for the darker sound of the D & A strings). Thanks
