Milkbox is cheap and good - two plusses in its favour. Try to get one of the "newer" ones because the older ones had a stupid plug for power (it was a male end, instead of the standard female end) and the circuit is a bit of a battery hog.
I listened to some guitar demos, its attack doesn't sound that slow to me. Also not that cheap anymore unfortunately, about 100$ for a boxed one.
The Compressore is enormous and has wierd power requirements (15V) but sounds great, if you're not looking for something transparent. But be warned - If you thought the FloorQ was too big, be prepared to be mind blown. Lol
Well, probably not, but veeeery long, too long for my needs.
I did try to see graph on my PC (i generated white noise tone and recorded it through compressor pedal) and see the duration on screen, but did not know how to interpret result with 100% accuracy, but, it was very slow attack (Time before Compressor kicks in), combining with fast release, it is unusuable for me. Did not experience this with Markbass Compressore...
This seems to be not an option in Europe. I think I'm gonna settle on the Diamond or the Mad Professor.
On your reviews you basically talk about the BCP-1 in a very enthusiastic way for its tone enhancing capabilities while not as much about the Mad Professor. In this video, they seem to have same tonal character though..
