If you're looking for true rounds, I'll have to second the Sunbeams. Between the round core and the precise winding, you'll be hard-pressed to find a smoother and more supple true roundwound.
DR Sunbeams, if you can live with a Toyota; TI Jazz Rounds, if you want to move up to a Lexus.

if you favour high tension strings, fender pure nickels 7150. They are very warm and are almost similiar tension wise to most flatwounds.
When you say _soft_, do you mean the feel of the wrap on your fingertip or the give of the string when you fret it?
Then nickel is your huckleberry, or coated.
GHS Pressurewounds ... or any other roller wound string in a lite gauge ...
i have extra lite GHS Pressurewounds on both my 5vers , ... they feel much softer than the DR strings mentioned ( which i have tried ) ... it seems like GHS makes the Smith version also , as the gauges are exactly the same from low B to Hi C ... and YES , they are round wounds ...!!! the outer wrap is wound under more pressure which gives it a slightly oval shape ..! nice feel , reasonable price ...

Dunlop super brights seem very easy on the fingers to me. I don't think I've ever tried any of the strings above.
TI Jazz Rounds. No contest.
IME, the lightest Sunbeams are next, and also worth a try.

I'll tell you what you prolly won't like, IME/IMHO: Cobalts. Those have the gnarliest tactile sense I've ever experienced.
(Cobalt lovers, please don't jump on my head. I think they sound good--but they're rough to the touch, IME.)

Compared to Sunbeams, Dunlop SuperBrights are cheese graters. IME.
TI Jazz Rounds. Expensive - yes, but worth it.
