Special Run of Valenti 4 and 5 string basses

Gigged my new 4 string last night. Wasn't going to use it because we tune a half step down in this particular band plus I wanted to put the strings I use on the bass and didn't have the time. Brought it anyways along with my Sandberg mm/j. Was also doing my full first gig my my new bergantino amp so I was a bit anxious overall. Strapped on both basses and tuned them up. The Valenti had low action and with the tune down was super low. The neck profile on this bass is thinner front to back than the Sandberg which has a more rounder feel. Got the gain on the new amp where I wanted it and adjusted the eq. Bass has a nice bottom with the Nordstrand big singles. I used very little boost on the bass preamp, maybe 5% on the bass knob. New amp sounds killer already. Used it all three sets. Nice and light, neck felt great, killer tone. Soundman said outfront was awesome and onstage for me was also awesome. Overall, it's a hit!!

Don't hesitate people. I've owned most hyper Fender type basses. This bass hangs with the best of them. Fretwork killer, looks killer, plays killer
