Hi folks, I've been a rock/punk electric bassist for many years and was recently gifted a low quality double bass. I have entirely fallen in love with the instrument and play for at least an hour every day.
My music theory is dodgy at best, and my technique would send shivers down your spines, but my intonation is good and it doesn't hurt to play any more after a few months practise!
I created this account just to say thanks really. To Lynn and all you other lovelies who frequent this place. I googled some questions and was led here repeatedly, and they were all answered! So thank you all! I hope to continue improving and this will be my first port of call for any queries.
