Looks like a marching snare to me. My son is in a competitive drumline, so there’s one of these around the house all the time.

I think I told this story before:
My old band auditioned a drummer who had two 50 gallon drums for bass drums, and used floor toms for the upper toms. Everything was double sized. You can imagine the sound.
