The official "Show your basses" thread part 19!

Just added the '98 Jack Casady last night. The collection grows but so does my work schedule, so gigs are few and far between.

I got the same Jack Casady bass new in September. Love this bass guitar. Bought flats to replace the roundwounds that came on it from Gibson/Epiphone. I get to put them on this Saturday. I feel you on work schedule. I am in Korea for work for two weeks. Was able to carry on my Gretsch Junior Jet shortscale to have a bass on the road for practice. 🤘🏼🤘🏼

I've got Labella LTFs in the mail today. I play flats on 90% of my basses.

Hey, is this intentionally treated wood supposed to have this neck color? This, as I see it, is probably some new fashion and way for today's guitars...?
I don't know if it's good or bad, but I'd rather have it in the back of my mind that no one fried my guitar on a grill or gave it steroids to make it grow faster.;)
I also think that every bassist should have at least one Stingray... 🙋‍♂️
May it serve you and make you smile! 🤠
About the neck: yes, because it's roasted maple. I admit I wouldnt mind if it were a bit lighter in color but I still like it though. Roasted maple should be a bit stronger than the regular maple necks. Also, yup, a Stingray should be in pretty much every bassist's arsenal ;)

Oh ..nooo....Let's not mix religion...politics, gender. Nothing good comes from this... My opinion, but let it serve you!
Bass above all! 👀
Have you seen the size of the Worship bassist group on Talkbass?

He isn't pushing anything, he's showing his bass and appreciating it... In the Show Your Bass thread.

I know how great TalkBass is... If you show your bass, you must be prepared for comments? I see that there are comments under the photos, so I added mine. I'm honest and I'm not going to beat around the bush... That my opinion, as a member of TalkBass, is that I personally don't like something like that in the bass guitar and that's it... For me, music is apolitical, non-partisan, without religion, gender, etc.. because it only divides people instead of uniting them. So I don't like the project and I express it in a comment. Chill out!

Hi lads ! I recently got a new bass.

An active jazz bass, a modern precision with flat wounds, and a vintage fretless jazz bass. How versatile !

What a nice color precision...Pickguard is...light green, mint?
Ampeg color and precision does the job... Can you take a photo together? Regards!

I would rock the funk/soul on this beautiful "guy".....Mmmm!
:bassist::drool:
Thanks! I wish I could rock/funk/jazz fusion it out with a band, but those days are pretty much behind me at this point. I do use the 4004L SPC for recording occasionally, but I'd love to show it off at gigs.
