In venues with a sound engineer, ALWAYS compliment the sound engineer before you leave... Especially if you plan to re-book there. A band I was in always chatted with the sound guy before we set up, like "dude, what do you need from us?". And we always sounded great!

For what it’s worth and for the record… I have never in my life referred to the sound guy as the “sound bitch” … quite the opposite. My philosophy has always been… man alive I better make sure I don’t do ANYTHING to piss those guys off or else the next 3 hours of my life are gonna suck
