I bet a US made Millennium is still a good buy if it is in good shape. It's always fun and depressing to read these older threads for a reality check. $400 was a great deal then, and now it would be, "What's the catch ?"

I’m sure you’ve seen me say it elsewhere before, but I will say it again: asking prices have doubled on US Peavey basses in this pandemic. I don’t know about selling prices, but I know I haven’t been buying. It's always fun and depressing to read these older threads for a reality check. $400 was a great deal then, and now it would be, "What's the catch ?"
It is crazy how some of the prices are SO outrageous, and as soon as ONE person pays that price it sets the new bar. Our little club has been exposed and it kind of sucks, but at the same time I want to brag and say, "See, I told you so. Peavey USA RULES !!!!" I own a lot of basses, of which 90% are USA Peaveys. That's because they are good in every way. I have some $2000 custom basses that I NEVER play because my Peaveys are just .... BETTER.I’m sure you’ve seen me say it elsewhere before, but I will say it again: asking prices have doubled on US Peavey basses in this pandemic. True. There is a Status Precision bass on GC Used for $2,499 which is a total joke considering you can get the neck NEW from Status for around $400 bucks and throw it on any Fender type Pbass.Asking price doesnt mean selling you said a mouth full. You cant get old model necks from peavey, or Ibanez thats why they actually sell Cheap. No matter how much you love it. It could get real hard to maintain.
