TI Jazz Flats - which gauge for a Precision ?

The rounds I have on it are from the early ‘90s. They STILL sound good ha ha. Not kidding , dead rounds sound awesome. Made me wonder why I’m replacing them.

Picked up the new TI’s the other day. Looking forward to installing them.

Strung 'em up today. Great strings. They stay in tune, even new. Feel is good to me, tension is fine. I miss the vibrato I can get with rounds but I have other basses for that. Plugged into a couple of amps to check out how the strings sound:

Yorkville xs800 Bassmaster with 4x10 Mesa Powerhouse.
800w rms, this old amp is like a big block muscle car. Super punchy low end with these strings. The sound most players will want out of an old precision. Perfect for a loud gig where the bass drives everything. Love the strings with this amp.

Vintage Ampeg B15
Pleasant middle of the road sound. Good for a light weight gig where no one gets offended. I usually use this amp for upright gigs so does not really matter.

Also have a GK amp to try it with one day but every bass I own sounds good with that amp. I'm sure it will not disappoint.
