Tuners and Bridge for Squier Affinity Jazz

Surprisingly, they're pretty decent. I had never heard of them either but, for the price, I took a chance. The first set of tuners I ordered from them were just too difficult to turn. Returned them for an "upgraded" set and they're much better. I was very surprised at how easy it was to setup the bridge too. Lots of resources here and on YouTube to help with that. The bridge dropped right in too.

No drilling required top install either.

What made you replace all of that? Were the old ones bad or you just wanted something new?

The OEM tuners were very sloppy and the plating was peeling off.

The bridge was strictly for cosmetic and educational purposes. I also purchased a string height gauge for the installation.

I replaced the pots and cap with CTS pots and a Sprague orange drop as well. That was a piece of cake.....I taught mil-spec soldering for many years in the electronics industry so that was no problem at all.

The entire thing started out as a project assembled spare parts (complete and neck) laying around and the purchase of a few others.

Body and neck = free
Bridge = $7.63
Tuners = $20
CTS wiring kit = $18
Scratch plate = $7

I bought the pickup several years ago on eBay for $29 thinking it would be good for a project some day. Turns out, it was.

Total material cost = $81.63
Education received = priceless
