I'm sorry, but if you make two-factor authentication mandatory, you will lose me. Two-factor authentication is a freakin' pain in the arse, and since I know I'm cautious enough to protect myself as much as is necessary already, it's an additional (and onerous) additional level of protection I don't want and don't think I need. Two-factor authentication should be an option, not a mandate.

I suspect those members that have been harmed wouldn't have been spared by two-factor authentication.

Do you allow cookies?

Yes, I allow limited cookies if sites ask. Most don't so I imagine I do.
I do have Ad Block Plus. I never see ads on this site.

I'm sure when I clear browser histories - Safari, Chrome, FF, Duck - cookies from all visited sites are deleted. I don't clear often, maybe every couple of weeks to once a month.

Hmmm.... usually view TB on Chrome. Logged in from the bookmark and it loaded right up. Havent cleared Chrome browser for a few days since this 2 Verification thing came up, so seems the last email code sent is still good.
HOWEVER checked with Safari browser (Mac), and F*Fox and this message came up:

which didn't feel very good. So apparently to be able to view TB again on these two browsers I have to send you an email and do some back and forth.
Guess I'll keep hoping I can get into TB on Chrome which just asks to "Verify I'm not a robot", check the box, and hope to get an email verification code.

I'm not here much anymore, but do enjoy the site! Hope this all gets a little easier --- for all of us. peace

today i had to input the code to log in. the problem is, i got error after error - 5 times i got a pop-up with an error, and when i stopped getting errors, every time i tried to input the code to log in, it simply sent me another code. i finally unchecked the box to remember me for 30 days, and it let me log in, but i'd rather not have to do this daily.

btw, when i tried to email, the verification where the capsha on the form outside the logged in area was not working, so i was unable to email for help...

Using email for two factor authentication only works if the hacked accounts don't use the same password on their email account. Really needs to be authenticated via an app like Authy, Duo, Google Authenticator, etc. Email verification really just verifies that the email can be read by the person using the account. Not who they are.
