What’s Peavey doing??

The late eighties/early nineties were great years for Peavey basses. I’ll be using two at a gig tonight - my Sarzo and RJ IV. Both great playing, great sounding basses.

I also have a sarzo i bought new in 89 or 90. I love it! I have defretteed it, dropped bart MMs in and a bart NTMB harness in it.

I just restrung it last night.

Funny story about this bass. It was stolen years ago. I got insurance for it and bought a brand new (at the time) Ibanez SDGR1500 at Guitar Center in LA . Then a few years later i get a call from the police saying they found my bass. I picked it up. Case was gone but bass was in perfect condition. So i defretted it!

Id say thats almost exactly what i paid for mine new. Maybe a bit more. Definitely under a grand.
