What is your "giant killer" bass?....

This Ibanez GSRM25 Mikro 5 string cost $200, and it punches way above it’s weight. Great playability and tone, and even the fit and finish have no discernible flaws.

I’d guess some of the parts are cheap, and perhaps wouldn’t survive heavy gigging, but in 5 years of home studio and jam use, it’s performed without issues.

Dont currently have one in my collection. But, used to be an old butchered t40. Previous owner had rerouted the neck pick up, I'd have to slap the neck into place every so often. The old electronics were so corroded that they would fall apart, but it's where the mojo lived. Pick ups were held in with electrical tape. Bottom string was dead 9th fret onwards. But man did she sound great.

Another vote for a US Peavey.
Got this for $100 with case. What makes it a killer in my book is the neck. It's comfortable and slimmer than your average P bass, I can get the action super low - it basically booted my heavily modified MIM Fender P bass out of my collection and ended up putting that one up for sale and keeping this $100 bass. It serves as my defacto P Bass in my collection.

I don't have any giants, probably never will.
Out of the dozen used basses I've accumulated, my most expensive is an EBMM USA SUB Stingray for $600.
All chosen for their very comfortable necks that are also nice and stable, and for sounding awesome.

So far in this thread, it looks like Peavey made a bunch of giant killers.

Edit: I wasn't gonna do this because it's obnoxious.....but we all like bass porn, right? :D
