I first saw Tony Levin live in the early '80s at B'ginnings in Schaumburg, IL when he toured with Cyndi Lauper on her first tour. He was great then, and even better now.

I played with these guys a year or so ago and put down a scratch bass track for their demo of this tune; the bandleader tells me their new bass player liked the demo so much he learned some of my part verbatim! (Though tbh I don't recognize which parts.)
