I agree with you, which is rare for two people in Quebec. It's gotta be a kill switch. I mean, it's a passive P bass, what else could it be? Somebody said coil splitter. That's laughable, you're gonna split the left from the right coil in a Precision pick up? All you'd get is two strings. Maybe they said series/parallel, that makes a little more sense, but still - all you'd get is a boost/cut in volume. Maybe that's the point?

Edited to add: Oh yeah, and I agree with you about the lights. Tacky (quétaine), but ruthlessly hypnotic. Everybody loves staring like cats at LEDs jiggling about in a near-dark setting. (And yes, I know we all like staring at SOMETHING ELSE jiggling about in a near-dark setting, but I wouldn't say we like LEDs quite that much...)
