Whatcha watching?

Alpha Dog, at the moment. I think they just added it to Netflix. Good movie. Justin Timberlake is a good actor. RIP Anton Yelchin.

Anton Yelchin definitely had some good roles before his death. If you haven’t seen Green Room, I recommend it. It’s very intense, and as a musician, it had some impact when I watched. A horror story of maybe the worst gig ever.

Been watching old movies on Amazon Video.
Liked "Impact" and "The More The Merrier" was pretty funny.

The Last Dance on ESPN. Great storytelling about one of the greatest eras in pro sports filled with some of the most memorable characters. Produced by the same fella who did The Fab Five doc.

Memorable for sure. There was something about that era of the NBA (mid-80s through late 90s) the was super-interesting... way more than those before or after.

Plus, the game was played in such a vicious way. Man, there was blood drawn regularly in the paint back then.

I just looked at the Game of the Century | All Blacks v Australia 2000. You'll be doing well if you ever see a more explosive test opening than what's on show here.

And then, there's Michael Moore Presents: Planet of the Humans, on YouTube, only for a short while — jaw-droppingly surreal. Lots of lockdown online leeway. Good souls are loosening the purse-strings and entertaining the inmates.

I also looked at Reece Witherspoon's Wild, but I can do that, off my own bat :)

I don't tend to watch fiction anymore, it cannot possibly compete with our reality. You really couldn't make it up...
That's why I generally only like speculative fiction. Sci fi, fantasy, anything where the world isn't this world or there's something weird going on. I have very little interest in fiction about regular people doing regular things.
