so, I love the size, and the reviews on it are amazing. (I have ruled out the Rumble100 for tone reasons....lots say boomy or wet blanket, and also ruled out the GK 212 for size reasons). It's looking like it may be between the Mesa Walkabout, Ampeg Venture210+V3 amp, or the ampeg MicroVR+210AV. Any thoughts on what might give the most options and also sound good at lower volumes as well as 'jam' volumes? (I did read the fan noise on the Walkabout Combo is a factor, but many have replaced the fan with an ultra quiet PC fan.... my bass player loves tinkering and would enjoy doing that....)
Many reviews say the relatively tiny Ampeg 210 cab doesn't go very low...I want DEEP BASS. I have floor to ceiling GIK acoustics bass traps in every corner so we can handle BASS. But seriously, before those bass traps, we'd get a standing low-booming wave when we would stop playing, and the shure mic would pick it up and we'd get a gradually rising reverberation....
