Will the neck fit the body

The pro I neck is the same bolt pattern as the replacement neck.

Were there any other issues with the way the neck fit the body? Any pictures of the mounting area?

I had a new MIM Fender P bass, roasted maple neck, sent straight from Fender. I dunno if the I"s differed from the II's. I had no problem with fitment. Had to drill different holes and puddy up the others. These guys I tagged should know.

The I and II are the same difference as your neck to a II, so I would be in good shape using the same body as you

Glad I took a look, because all my screws were a little loose. One was backed out about 7 turns....'yikes'.

All I can say is this : the Fender MIM roasted maple neck I installed on my jazz bass is P-E-R-F-E-C-T !

So stable I never touched the truss rod since it’s installed and my bow remains the same. This neck is extremely comfortable for me and the satin finish on the back allows very fast left hand moves, can’t ask for more.

This neck and another one made of roasted maple/dark rosewood from Warmoth are my best two, confirmed by me and some professional musicians.
