Zoom b3 patch Ideas

Hey everybody...welcome to the zoom b3 patch ideas thread. this is the one thread where you can share your patch ideas for the zoom b3. since I've learned how the zoom b3 actually functions, I'm starting to get some ideas on patches to create. so I will be posting some nifty patch ideas that can help you get some totally awesome sounds. anyone here who has patch ideas of their own, feel free to share it here. I will start with my personal patches.

Metal bass

Section 1: metalwrld: gain:25, tone:17, Level:100, Balance:30

Section 2: chorus: depth:50, rate:18, mix:59, locut:400hz, level:70, Predelay: on

Section 3: svt: bass:3, mid:2, treble:2, midfq:400hz, gain:45, level:59, ultra:low, cab:ag8x10, mix:50

Cool chorus

Section 1: exciter: bass:2, treble:3, level:70

Section 2: chorus: depth:50, rate:18, mix:59, locut:400hz, level:70, predelay: on

Section 3: g-krueger: bass:4, mid:2, treble:3, midfz:400hz, gain:40, level:90, color:mid, cab:swr4x10, mix:50

Here's another patch idea I've come up with. this one has an awesome overdrive sound that's very suitable for hard rock and heavy metal.

Grinding bassman

Section 1: any effect you want

Section 2: t-scream: gain:30, tone:45, level:80, balance:40

Section 3: B-man: bass:4, mid:1, treble:3, midfq:400hz, gain:45,
level:90, deep: off, cab:gk4x10, mix:50

Note: some patches I come up with would usually only consist 2 sections of the zoom b3 to be active. the other section that's not active, you can add any effect you want. rather if it's a modulation effect, compressor, limiter, or even a synth effect. if desired, you can add whatever effect you want to add.

Here's a patch idea that sounds pretty cool. this patch is useful for bass solos and if you play in a drum and bass kind of band(i.e death from above 1979).

Tube metal bass

Section 1: any effect you want

Section 2: bassdrive: bass:4, treble:3, presence:4, gain:40, blend:75, level:85, mid:5

Section 3: metalwrld: gain:40, tone:10, level:98, balance:30

.
I have grown to like a bit of light chorus in some songs we do. While I run a mono amp this is a patch I use to full effect only when recording, ie across two channels.
It still sounds great live in mono, but you obviously miss the stereo effect then.

SVT Chorus

Download patch here (hopefully, if it works!): http://www.tz350.net/Zoom_B3_patches/SVTchorus .b3p

Section 1: Stereo chorus: depth:32, rate:38, mix:45, low cut:340Hz, level:40

Section 2: graphic EQ: (To your taste), level:90

Section 3: SVT: bass:4, mid:0, treble:1, midfq:160hz, gain:90, level:140, Ultra:both, cab:Hartke4x10, mix:50

Overdrive, limited, through an SVT. I use this one with the band on several songs, though I'm forever tweaking it.

OD Limit SVT
Download patch http://www.tz350.net/Zoom_B3_patches/OD_CompSVT.b3p

Section 1: Bass Muff: gain:52, tone:78, level:10, mode:BsBST, balance:45

Section 2: Limiter: Thrsh:18, Ratio:4, Level:98, REL:5

Section 3: SVT: bass:5, mid:4, treble:3, midfq:180hz, gain:70, level:46, Ultra:low, cab:SWR4x10, mix:48

I'm still developing this one for use in the band.
Compressor, through a light hall reverb and into an SVT.
I am very inexperienced with compressors so my settings there may well seem way off accepted norm!

Here's a new patch Idea I've come up with recently. this patch idea is a warm overdrive-like boost that'll have your rig growling like a beast.

Here's another patch I've come up with. it's similar to the tube metal bass patch idea, only it's a little different. this patch idea has a different distortion model.

Section 2: bassdrive: bass:3, treble:4, presence:4, gain:45, blend:70, level:80, mid:7
