Hey, does anyone else feel any latency in the SVT amp sim? Or any of the other amp sims?

I love how the SVT amp sim sounds in my practice studio, but out on a gig it just seems like it lacks punch? On gigs, after a few songs, I end up taking the B3 out of my signal chain altogether and just go direct into my MarkBass Blackline 250 head, and there I get my punch back.

Well I think I have an answer to my own question? I am experimenting with a new tube preamp pedal from Sushi box (Finally DI). It also has the same squishy feeling of the tube amp sims in the B3. This is just a characteristic of tube amps I am discovering. And the B3 pedal emulates that quite nicely. I am also discovering that MarkBass solid state heads are very "fast" and the notes just jump right out of the cabinet. I'm spoiled on that. I think a way to have best of both worlds would be to roll back the blend of the amp SIM from the B3, whereas before I have it at 100? Or maybe use the B3 in the parallel effects loop?

Would be grateful to see any patches to share for...
* James Jamerson
* "Dancing In The Moonlight" by Thin Lizzy (Phil Lynott)
* Acoustic double bass
- jazz, eg "Autumn Leaves" by Cannonball Adderly (Paul Chambers)
- easy listening
- "Johnny B Goode" by Chuck Berry (Willie Dixon)
Been awhile since I dabbled w/ trying to create a good DB tone...I think I remember using the defret, monotone amp, and compression. Of course it's not perfect but it's doable, my memory is that I only liked that when I was playing very lightly with very subtle plucking hand attack.

Here's a synth patch I've come up with. it is an 80s styled synth that reminisce a human league song. a great patch for experimental music and playing 80s synth pop tunes.

80's bass synth

Section 1: booster: gain:40, bass:2, treble: 0, level:59

Section 2: monosynth: decay:59, wave: pulse, reso:9, synth:50, dry:45, level:80

Section 3: chorus: depth:50, rate:25, mix:59, locut:280hz, level:100, predelay: on
Just what I needed for a couple of songs!

I've been using the amp/cab sims a lot more since I bought a Headrush speaker. The "feel" of the sims is excellent and it was a good reminder of how great this pedal is.
My only issues is that there is some kind of midrange scoop (or something) in the cabinet emulation. Anyone know how to make these sound more "alive"?
I've been playing with pre & post boosts/comps/etc.

The SVT/Eden/Markbass are exceptionally good and I would like to figure out the Acoustic and Polytone.
