Amp Recomendation - Aguilar DB751 but smaller?

What do you put your BoBW in to move it around?
I don't hate the idea of this amp because I'm a Lovecraft nerd.
On the cheap, medium size vintage Samsonite suitcase foamed out to fit. But ideally, pelican case or harbor freight alternative.

I have a DB750 and the TH700. I can get similar tone out of the TH700 but not quite the same heft that the DB has.

That said, I can get very close running some sort of tubey pre into the TH. I've even got some good results using my Line6 Stomp with some tube saturated effects into the TH.

Last Sept the company said something about a new version in 2023 on their FB page. I don't know if that is the version that is out now.

Yes, I just mean that I dont think it's a radical change to the form factor of the BOBW, re: the previous question about the BOBW and what people use to transport it. Given the size constraints of the 1200w module and the preamp, I dont envision it being put in a significantly smaller enclosure. I am certainly interested in any updates, additions or improvements to this already stellar design.

I could be wrong. I have talked to Micah, but I dont know the details of what all he has cooking.

I don’t know if the DB751 sound exists in a lightweight amp. Does a DB750 count? I had a few of those, best amp ever made IMO. I tried a DB751 a few times, it was louder and a bit more middy, I thought. Almost harsh. Not too technical but that was my impression. I loved the rich, creamy sound of the 750 but the 10 year warranty of a new 751 is still tempting.
As far as other amps with that much drive try a Bergantino Forte HP. 1200 watts, around 7 pounds.

I don't necessarily care about the physical size as the weight will be lower than the 751. I was just wondering if the "2023 version" had any additional features.

that I dont know. One thing is for sure, it will always be lighter than a 751! :)

Anytime I travel to do an out of town gig and find a DB750 (or 751) with a decent pro cab to match, it puts a smile on my face and I know is going to be a good gig with with a killer sound that will be there for me to be creative and inspired.
I owned a TH500 and ended up selling it, not even close to the this other thing. I owned many head from different brands and as much as I love that sound I only carry a small clean head, currently using an EICH T500.
I am wondering if a small pedal like the Noble or Arkham would bring some of that flavor to the sound.
PIC: this is the rig (and bass) provided on my out of town festival gig last saturday.

As an owner of a DB751, the two closest class D amps that I’ve heard has been the Aguilar AG700 and the Fuchs SBT700
I have an AG700 and SL212 and a DB751 and DB412. I have compared both amps to both cabs and vice versa.

I think my DB751 absolutely sounds better, and the 412 sounds amazing. However, the weight....yikes. The AG/SL combination works great, and if you aren't standing side by side doing an A/B comparison, you would agree they are very closely related in their DNA. I take the DB rig out to sound amazing and look cool. I take the DBSL rig out and can still walk after the show. It also sounds great and inspires me. I have yet to find an amp combination that I like more.
