How do you know? I find very often the squeaky wheel gets the oil. That's why that's a saying.which he would have gotten anyway.

The beef I have is with you snarky dudes jumping all over a guy who had a bad experience and siding with a vendor instead of another bass player. And Prymaxe is far from innocent; jwr and others don't like them, and this is not a completely isolated incident. You keep harping on that but his situation was resolved without and before the vendor knowing this flamethrower of a thread was out here. What beef do you have or are you Captain Obvious?
I wasn't following this thread anymore, but since you quoted me...How do you know? I find very often the squeaky wheel gets the oil. That's why that's a saying.

And while they did *ok* by me, I still find all of their internet codes that never work and require talking to someone there instead to get the deal, and their by appointment only shop policy, and their penchant for selling goods that are out of stock without honestly showing them as back order items all quite off-putting. Is that ok with you Major Bummer or should I go stand in the corner for an hour?
We're all allowed to say *exactly* what we want to say, so please back off. Even the Prymaxe rep came and admitted they didn't do right by the OP, is that not good enough for you? Are you angling for some kind of a discount or something?
Well that is solid reasoning, but I still don't like them, and I still don't like all of you siding with a business over another bass player.I wasn't following this thread anymore, but since you quoted me...
This thread was created 5:12pm 1/23/18. OP posts at 2:56 AM 1/24/18 (this morning) stating the refund was in his account. With the information That's available in this thread and the Prymaxe website I see two scenarios:
Prymaxe initiating the refund on their end on 1/10/18 (as per screenshot in original post), something getting hung up in the international money transfer, and it still arriving in his account in 14 calendar days (which lines up pretty perfectly in the 10-15 business day window for refund processing shown on their website). Meaning he would have gotten his money anyway.
OR, Prymaxe reads this thread, decide initiate a refund, the money shows up in OP's account less than 8 hours later, and curiously waits until the next day to address it here.
What seems more likely? If it's the second scenario, I need to switch banks because I can't get a refund on a pair of sneakers to show up in less than 3 business days.
Yes, you should side with the bassist. I am surprised I even have to say that. Did the OP post in bad faith? When he posted this he had not yet received to refund. I don't see why everyone jumped against him on that.so we should side with the bassist even if my logic after reading the thread says the vendor didn't do anything wrong? for what its worth the customer service thing to do is always apologize like prymaxe did - even if the customer doesn't deserve it.
You keep harping on that but his situation was resolved without and before the vendor knowing this flamethrower of a thread was out here. What beef do you have or are you Captain Obvious?
Prymaxe was warned of such actions that I will take during early hours of the day at their e-mail address [email protected], which both Lauren and Steve has access to, and gave no reply until 17:30 at NJ, it was already 01:30 and all the action which I have warned them about was already taken seeing that they just do not reply. So do not jump into conclusions without knowing all the facts.

I swear I am not being a wanker but why wouldn't I side with whoever I feel is in the right? why does bassist get the nod over a company?
It shouldn't have been said at all.As can be seen here, nobody is quoted here, so why take it personally? I just said some replies...Whose replies, I did not say...
And why wouldn't I? And why would we argue about it? Why wouldn't we all just make our opinions known on the topic at hand and leave it at that? And why do all of you pro-Prymaxe people keep posting on a dead thread titled "Prymaxe- Epic Fail" thus keeping above the fold on Talkbass? So many questions, so few answers.I swear I am not being a wanker but why wouldn't I side with whoever I feel is in the right? why does bassist get the nod over a company?
