I will miss this man and will always love him. He was like a father to me (as you have been too, @JRA). Goodbye, Ronnie.the forum lost a beautiful man yesterday. @EatS1stBassist left us.
those of us in the glarry club enjoyed his generosity and evenness regularly, and many of you were aware of those same qualities in his postings on other forums/subforums.
he will be missed here.

I’ll always always always remember when he was asking about starting the Glarry club in posts and threads prior. He was so excited and eager to spread the word about the uber cheap and modding platform known as Glarry/Exquisite/Burning Fire. He was like ‘should I do it B-Mac?’ That’s how we first bonded on TB. It’ll always be very special and I’ll hold this memory close to my heart. R.I.P. Ronnie.the forum lost a beautiful man yesterday. @EatS1stBassist left us.

I was searching the internet for information on Ron Barnhill and his connection to a Bass forum and I found talkbass with these posts about my twin brother’s passing.
I want to thank you all for such kind words about him. He would have been very happy and proud to be thought of in such a way. Also, honored by being a member with such an awesome group of people.
My brother was my mentor, musically. He could really play bass, guitar, keyboards and any instrument he could get his hands on. He had a wonderful voice and enjoyed playing a variety of genres.
My most treasured memory was when he gifted me and himself a ticket to see Yes in concert in LongBeach, CA. We had seats up close and through an arrangement with the keyboard player and a Yes Roadie, Jon Anderson wished my brother and me Happy Birthday two times in front of all who were in attendance.
Again I thank everyone for your kind thoughts and wishes.
Don Barnhill
Very much appreciate your kindness. Thank you!I am sorry for your loss.
Thank you for your kind thoughts.Don, he truly seemed a humble soul. I wish I could have met him in person, as he's one of those rare people who laughed at my jokes...
... we're going to (and have) miss him, too.
Sorry for the loss, breaux! RIP, Itsy.
Thank you for your kind thoughts.
