They actually did it a couple of months ago. I picked up an Ibanez AFR5 that I had been eyeing and got the 10% off. I think it was either the days leading up to Memorial Day or the days leading up to July 4th, not sure which.
They seem to have finally increased their prices for shipping larger items. I was quoted $190 for freight shipping to my house (no store pickup available?) from Denton TX to Austin, which is a 4 hour drive. I may just go up and get it this weekend.
Whoa wait really? For a used bass? It was like 24$ shipping just a few days ago. That’s crazy because I literally was about to get a used one but ended up just buying a new one to trade someone locally.
Edit: I just checked and it shows 24$ for shipping to Oregon

Now that Guitar center has gear advisors (a la Sweetwater) - you can call into their advisor line and get free 2 day shipping on most used gear. I just did this with a Mesa Subway cabinet and they also threw in a Speakon cable half off.
I just pulled the trigger on Valenti #139 then found this thread! Price is good and I can always return it if anything is up As it seems to have already been returned once I'll be giving it a good going over.

Picked up Valenti #139 yesterday. It's a very nice bass, stock apart from the pickguard (which I might change again for tort!). I think I got a great deal!
