Picked up a MIJ 90's Fender MB-5 that was mislabeled as a Squier MB-5 for $130 the other day. They even threw in a set of Chromes for it since it's a righty strung up lefty. Should be here tomorrow!

How can I say "I hate you!" in a very nice way? :D
Awesome score, I love finding those "oops" tags.
I got a G&L ASAT guitar from them years ago that they thought was a TRIBUTE. Turned out to be a custom order made long before Tributes existed.

VIVA GC!

In the early 2000s, my local GC had a used 5-string Sadowsky in the $500 - $600 range. This was before the Subway series existed so it had to be an NYC!

I wasn't interested in 5-strings then, so I didn't grab it. :bawl:

For those interested in a really nice playing and sounding bass that really has a vintage vibe, there is a Nash TB68 at the Guitar Center in Allen Park, MI. This is a reliced Tele bass with an added J pickup by the bridge, with a stacked vol and tone for each pickup. The bass plays and sounds sweet, if this is your thing. This is not a super deal at $1199, but fair from what I have seen Bill Nash'es instruments going for. I am in no way affiliated with Guitar Center but thought this may be a really good deal for someone that wants this type of vibe. Jon, the manager, and Dan, an assistant manager are pretty good people to deal with if you want to check this out.

PS...If someone buys it, mention that you learned of it here as it may help me out a bit down the road.

Not to really dig up old threads, but I just tried 2 days ago to buy a bass from the on-line store. It declined my CC. I lost the purchase and I am fumed!! I checked my CC today and 2 pending charges for the bass are sitting in my account (yes I know they will drop off), but the approval went through and I still did not get the bass... I am really angry about it. Especially since I have been gas'n for this bass for about 3 years!! UGH!!! I finally found out what the problem was. I was not giving them that 4 digit code after my zip code!! Who the hell even remembers that??
