I have an Eminence 15 that should work. Supposedly the cab is an Ampeg that someone at sometime roadcase-ized.wow, dubious --- it looks bulletproof!
it looks 'solid'....just needs a caster and an appropriate driver, no? have you 'heard it' yet?
if it sounds as cool as it looks = you win!

Its got all 4 casters, they pop out like my old peavy PA cabs!!
The thing that throws me off is that the top pops off..... I suppose its for access to the inside but it’s weird and definitely not sealed.
Kinda crazy.
The 4 pin xlr makes me laugh too... i used those in the entertainment lighting world for color scrollers, maybe they were used in audio before my time??
Cool!The 69 SVT used a 4 pin XLR

Pins 2 and 3 are part of interlock circuit for the power supply. The idea is the amp cannot be set from standby to operate unless a speaker is plugged in.
Here is connection in the power supply.

the seal would be important, would some kind of foam insulation tape fit the join? cool that @Redbrangus and @Wasnex remembers ampeg history...i would never have remembered! but that detail is easily modified to 'usable'.I have an Eminence 15 that should work.
I absolutely did not know that. Weirdly cool. The 69 SVT used a 4 pin XLR

So maybe its an old b-15?Some early Ampeg B-15's had XLR-4 speaker connectors.
If it sounds bad, ill use it as a guitar cab!!Nice! It looks so cool who cares what it sounds like. Fire it up.
I'm not the guy for that, but there are people around here that are. I'm sure they'll wander by. My memory is that there was a vintage of B15 with that center brace. One of the experts could probably date it to within a few years by that feature if that's the case.So maybe its an old b-15?
Did they have that center brace as well?
@Wasnex - So did the B15's use that same scheme?

Edit: See if you can edit the thread title to include something about Ampeg B15s... that should attract the guys that know Ampegs. With the current title, I just checked in thinking it was about resolving hum issues... something I actually do know a little something about. (But for God's sake, don't tell anybody. )
Poor Buster wasn’t tiered, he was board and rolling his eyes at me because i was messing with gear and not playing with him....Tie a rope around it, add a full dish of dog food, a bowl of water, then load that tired looking dog in there.
