Nope!!At least you weren't cramming for that spelling test.
From the looks of your avatar, I'd guess you might be right. As I say, I'm not the guy. There was a time in the early '70s when I really wanted a B15 for small gigs, but new ones were too expensive for my budget and used ones were scarce as hen's teeth in these parts.Anywho
I actually thought all the b15 cabs had a brace across the front.
wow, dubious --- it looks bulletproof!
it looks 'solid'....just needs a caster and an appropriate driver, no?
my avatar makes me look like i can't subtract , but i think some 'discreet' bracing could improve the piece if and when @Dubious Aa cared to bass-i-fy it....it might work as a guitar cabinet as it sits.Flight cases are not nearly as rigid as a well made speaker enclosure - often they're only 1/4" thick - also, note there is absolutely no bracing across any of the faces of the enclosure. It may be tough enough for shipping (the metal corners help there), but I'll bet it's sub par in terms of resonances, rattles, etc. On the plus side, the internal volume should be really easy to calculate - the lack of braces means you don't have to do a lot of pesky subtraction.
Its not a road case, its a speaker cab Made of 3/4” ply that someone riveted and screwed aluminum sheets, edges and corners to.Flight cases are not nearly as rigid as a well made speaker enclosure - often they're only 1/4" thick - also, note there is absolutely no bracing across any of the faces of the enclosure. I love that stereoNot sure about your cab but that Marantz caught my eye in the first photo..... confirmed in the second one.
Or a suitcaseIf it sounds bad, ill use it as a guitar cab!!
