Hmmm

wow, dubious --- it looks bulletproof!

it looks 'solid'....just needs a caster and an appropriate driver, no?

Flight cases are not nearly as rigid as a well made speaker enclosure - often they're only 1/4" thick - also, note there is absolutely no bracing across any of the faces of the enclosure. It may be tough enough for shipping (the metal corners help there), but I'll bet it's sub par in terms of resonances, rattles, etc.

On the plus side, the internal volume should be really easy to calculate - the lack of braces means you don't have to do a lot of pesky subtraction.

my avatar makes me look like i can't subtract  , but i think some 'discreet' bracing could improve the piece if and when @Dubious Aa cared to bass-i-fy it....it might work as a guitar cabinet as it sits.

Its not a road case, its a speaker cab Made of 3/4” ply that someone riveted and screwed aluminum sheets, edges and corners to.
Regardless, im expecting it to rattle, heck it might even hiss a bit with the massive air leaks.
We’ll see (rather, we’ll hear)
