Hmmm

@Wasnex - So did the B15's use that same scheme?

Yes, this safety feature originated on the B15. First using an octal socket and later with the 4-pin XLR connector.

So maybe its an old b-15?
Did they have that center brace as well?

Yes, they had a center brace.

I'm not the guy for that, but there are people around here that are. I'm sure they'll wander by. My memory is that there was a vintage of B15 with that center brace. One of the experts could probably date it to within a few years by that feature if that's the case.

It's hard to tell but it looks like it MAY be built around a single baffle B15 cabinet. It's been modified so much that it's hard to tell.

 the seal would be important, would some kind of foam insulation tape fit the join? cool that @Redbrangus and @Wasnex remembers ampeg history...i would never have remembered! :D but that detail is easily modified to 'usable'.

anyway, i can't wait to hear how that sounds --- to you.

I have used Portaflex's for much of my life. I developed the habit of applying a damp paper towel to the gasket as required.

Reminds me of the old Road amplifier line(a spin-off of Kustom)…
