Do you have any home recording available online to share in this thread?

I've been recording a lot on my own for the past year or so.
I mostly put everything I record on my youtube account.

I've been working a lot on doing Bass/Double Bass duo and trying to expend on my vision of both instrument. Enjoy!

I know for some people this might seem weird but I still don't feel safe posting picture of my stuff on the internet... Even if you can see most of it on my YouTube channel...

This thread a is space to share Home made music projects. (Your Original Music online, Photos of the your home equipment, home studio ideas etc.) This is not a competition or a place to judge! This is a space for freedom, to share and have a good time. Everyone is welcome...

Feel free to share.

Thank you in advance

although I don’t have an at home studio, I do have the ability to record tracks at home and sent them out. Most of the tracks arrive at a home studio in another state. I think I’m on 3 or 4 LPs that are available online on ITunes that were mastered there. We have another we plan to release, the arrangements are done, we just need to get together to run through them as a unit. We plan to perform them live, so we want to make sure what we record can be played live.

Currently I have Cubasis loaded on my IPad and use a Steinberg UR 12 interface to connect with the mothership.

Since gigs are not happening, all of my performance all of my performance gear is in my house. All 2,400 watts in a 15’x15’ room lol!

An old home recording from 1997 recorded in an analog 4 tracks with a Korg M1 and an electric guitar ( Direct, No Amps ) Believe it or not the recording was reviewed by Keyboard Magazine when it was released. The guitar player was 18 years old at the time, now he is a famous producer with a few Grammys at home. Lets see if you can guess who he is :laugh::

Nearly all of our released albums were recorded at home except for our first EP and first album. I am currently in the process of remastering all of them for the new year but everything we have released is free to download/stream on our Bandcamp - The Heavy Jack 3

Our third album is officially available on Spotify / iTunes and other Online Stores but I direct everybody to our bandcamp - the remasters will be free when I’m finished with them as well.

my SO and I live in a small house which has a dedicated band room where we have our instruments and a mixing station. We do funky covers of current and classic pop songs. Is that OK to post here? We did this arrangement of Alicia Keys' Underdog

Awesome! You and your drummer work well together...well, all of you do. That was a fun listen and an enjoyable ensemble groovin.

Here’s a little instrumental “sketch” that may develop into a song, or into a backing jam track for my stepmom, who wants to try playing her cello in more of an improv way, by ear, as a break from reading music.

Caustic Magnus import

I used an app called Caustic 3 to do the drums, then imported that into an app called BandLab (running on my iPhone) where I overdubbed the guitar and bass. Both instruments are recorded direct through a Joyo JF-16 British Sound and an iRig 2 interface, then treated with cab sims in BandLab.

I had planned to add a track of my little plastic Magnus toy organ, which is waaaaay sharp. I tuned the guitar and bass to the organ. I figured I could tell my stepmom, “Hey, you wanted to work on your ear; deal with it. You ain’t got no frets anyhow.”

I will be re-recording at standard pitch, I think.

Here’s another, which was probably my first recorded example of me playing bass, and my only recorded example of me playing alto recorder:

woodwind style

Home made... That's what it's been about for a long, long time.
I'm gonna hit you with my band doing a song I wrote. 1st, room recording during a weekly rehearsal, then home studio version from our album. This is for your comparison. Both versions incorporate unorthodox methods of recording. It's amazing we got this far! BTW... I warn you, my trimmed live version was so close, sound cloud chopped part off the first note! Get over that! It should and does go like the studio version.

live rehearsal;

and the album version;

another comparison... home made songs and funny ways of making them.
My first band stuff like that doing fix the car.

And my last band, sycamore haze doing it.

About ten years later. Both were in my home studio but different equipment was used.
