Can I ask what bass are you using on this? The whole song sounds great. I love the tension at the beginning.

Thanks for the kind words, @Swipter! I'll pass on the comments to our fearless BL.

We actually recorded the song back in November, and only recently added video segments to it. I try and pick the bass which nails down what I'm hearing in my head... I had to go back through our text thread, and found I had used my G&L SB-2T for this recording.

The intro guitar riff is simple note wise, but it took me forever to feel the pattern of it... I can do it in my sleep, and actually have a bit of fun with it.

Again, thanks for listening!

It had been a long time that I wanted to do a bass cover in the company of another bass player and in the end I decided to do it ... an Italian disco dance track from the 70s played in pairs with a friend of mine using both our Fender Precision American Performer .. Enjoy!

After all, aren't two bass players better than one?

The 70’s were a wonderful period for the electric bass, especially in funky and disco music, where our instrument excelled and was the absolute protagonist. As in the case of a classic of those years such as Last Train to London by Electric Light Orchestra, shown here and played with my trusty Fender Precision American Performer in single coil mode... enjoy!

Playing with my SR5 with flats and Reaper. Once these flats lost their initial zingyness it immediately pushed me into "Juan Diàcono" Stingray tone territory. I might have been hearing this song for 35+ years, but only yesterday I learned how to play it. SO MUCH FUN IN 2 MINUTES 15! (and most music I've done sounds so static every time I play stuff like this) Using my Zoom B3 as audio interface on this one, simple SansAmp+comp. patch.
