The acoustic is the culprit for breaking my 2014 promise! I very nearly ordered the 5er fretless, but in the end I went for the 4 string fretted, as I think it will get more use (my fretless jazz has a lack of play time lately).

I have all ready 3 Harley Benton basses,and i am gonna bye soon 2-3 more.Very pleased with the price and quality of them.The only think i dont like is the Harley benton strings.The deluxe model comes with D'addarios.

Thanks for sharing. I didn't know about the deluxes coming with d'addarios, I never take much notice of stock strings and have just resigned myself to all stock strings needing to be changed.
How is the p'up on the precision?

The two acoustics is identical except the color.I was want two of them because i want one with bronze strings and one with nylons

The first think someone must do is to change the strings.The standard P bass was so low in volume and so lifeless.I try first D'addarios nickels 0.95 and then custom slingy Ernie balls 105's.The best results was with the D'addarios.

I know, I've got the short-scale version of that one.
But it would be so nice if there was even one lefty 5 string P-bass on the market. A decent budget four string P is already difficult to find, a lefty 5 string P-bass just doesn't exist at all.
The budget market for lefty Jazz basses is a little bit better and there is even some choice, but once again 5 strings do not really exist besides the Chinese counter-fits (of which I happen to own two
).
My next purchase is gonna be this beauty
Which one's that? I don't recognize it from the Thomann website.
By the way, does anybody know how the Harley Benton amps and cabinets are?, I've been looking at those too.
That explains it; I haven't been looking at the fretless models. I'd be interested in a fretted version of that one.
