JPTR Bass Jive

Website says:

Technical Specification

- Size: 6,5 x 13 x 6 cm with knobs
- Power requirement: 9-18 V DC PSU (centre negative, 2.1 mm)
- Current draw: <50 mA

That's the same size as the Jive pedal!
will the bass jive still have the 3 clipping options like the normal Jive? i don't use them often but the first two are really great for nailing that direct into console tone

Apologies all- the discount code doesn't work for the Bass Jive preorder, only some in stock gear. Sorry to get your hopes up.

The discount code gets loaded into the Checkout if you clicked an email newsletter link. Worth remaining on the newsletter as sales occur 3-4x year
hey, you tried and that is much appreciated!

Using one of the past codes is how I purchased the Jive at a nice price. Still anxiously awaiting the Bass Jive.

He got me with the announcement that this was going to be a limited run. I was going to wait a while and pick one up in the future. But if it's as good as I'm hoping, I couldn't pass it up. It probably will straight up replace the Jive on my bass board, though. Gotta offset the costs somehow...

Same! If it’s not planned to return soon, I might as well preorder now. The upgrades I’ve read about on the german bass forum are intriguing enough.

The guy involved with the design of the pedal is in that thread. Check it out guys:

He even plans on adding an always on mode where the switch would engage/disengage the overdrive. It’s worth a read.

That always on mode sounds mega if he manages to pull that off.

Not sure how it would affect the overal volume boost, but it’s neat for people who want that option. I will most likely still use it as a light od/dirty boost or might use it for a straight forward overdrive and move DCX Bass to lighter od duties.
