He seems to have confirmed it on that forum. That always on mode sounds mega if he manages to pull that off.
That'd be ideal for me, I'd have it as always-on for clean boost + coloring and the footswitch to turn on distortion

I have a Double Jive as well!!! I think adding the Bass Jive will open up a lot of possibilities!I don't need always-on mode. I have a double Jive
Keep telling yourself thatOne is enough for me. Double Jive is perfect. Don't even want to try the bass one
No timeline given, just that they were now in production. For those of you that got an update email saying they are in production did they give you a timeline on delivery?
I'm not sure if any of the batches have been completed yet, to be honest. I'm sure they'll share a photo of the pedal on their fb/ig before shipping anything. I don't expect these to ship before January. This time, I've managed to curb my expectations.Anyone get shipping notification?
I can’t decide whether this is classic Talkbass or classic JPTR that we’re six pages into a thread and no sign of the actual pedal.Good luck folks. Knowing these guys, it may be December 2025.
You just made me want this all over again! You've probably seen the final options that will go into Bass Jive, but here they are (taken from their FB page):
-Lowcut 60Hz/30Hz/“punchy” (cut at 80 Hz but with resonance peak)
-Voicing vintage/neutral/modern
-Clean boost/classic jive/classic + parallel drive
-DIP switch toggles between normal bypass and boost/drive
-Everything that runs with opamps (clean boost, EQ, etc.) operates at 18V, jive and overdrive run at 9V.
I'm very curious about the low cut (I take it's an HPF) options and the classic + drive option. I'll most likely keep the voicing neutral as I suspect vintage will roll off the high end (or maybe boost the lows) and modern might add a scooped EQ.
Looking forward to it.
