NBD - Fender Road Worn Jazz

That’s rad! Wish they made them lefty. I’m in the process of an American Standard build (with new lefty Fender replacement body & neck) that’s gonna be fiesta/tort/rosewood as well. No relicing, just a new poly finish.
Anyway, enjoy. Those RWs are stellar.

If Fender made a RW P in this same color combo (Fiesta with a tort guard) with a rosewood board, I'd be all over it. But I guess they don't want to hurt the sales of the CS Pino. I've been thinking about building a Pino clone, starting with a RW Precision body.

You could keep an eye peeled for a Nash P bass in Fiesta Red - far more affordable (though not as exceptional) as a CS Pino.

@Crusher47 — Nice. You will love it. Play the heck out of it!

Sir, "IF" your $250.00 Jazz was a RoadWorn Jazz, (it's not by the picture), then you would have gotten the deal of the century!!!!

To my ears and hands, Fender's RoadWorns are Fender's best kept secrets!

The 'Road Worn' aspect is entirely a red herring. If you're put off Road Worns because of the finish, bad luck - because you are missing out on a light, resonant, great-sounding bass that is effortless to play and feels like the real deal.

And the fact that these are made in Mexico is another irrelevance. RWs are entirely superior to any other MIM Fender and in my opinion are at least equal to, if not better than, many MIA basses.

If you don't agree with the above, it's likely because you've never picked up a RW and played it. These basses have soul and are currently the best value offered by Fender, bar none.
