Walked into GC to get strings. Left with this. $1199 plus tax out the door. I’ve been a Fender guy my whole life. Do you think it’s worth keeping for the price? Or could I have done better buying used?
Ah, NO..Well, it's still a Fender you know?

In my experience on TB, if someone gets a good deal, someone will post about better deals they know about, and that is just fine. The important thing is that the buyer is happy with what she or he purchased.
Similar story here. I played a musicman sterling for twenty years. Then I paid off my debt and was making more so I bought a Rick and then a P. I sold the sterling and have never looked back.Well...I played Musicman exclusively for over 22yrs. (1980 Stingray purchased new), but I started craving a more organic sound and picked up a P Bass.
It was game over for me. Now I have 3 Fenders and a G&L JB2.
All passive instruments and I'm very happy. That's my story and I'm sticking to it.
Awesome bass! Congrats!!
Ah, NO..
I can't believe 11 people voted no.
