I love that the Polish punk scene has been kicking hard since long before the fall of the Berlin Wall. Just watch the enthusiasm for the greatest and most real punk band Nomeansno just around the time the wall fell. Nomeansno had been sneaking behind the iron curtain since 86 I do believe. Very dangerous thing to do, going to West Germany in the back of locals vans, staying and playing at their squats (Jason Lamb's amazing book "From obscurity to Oblivion" tells the story in great detail) Hardcore to the max, but they knew how amazing and loyal the then communist countries punk fans were.

This is one of the greatest live shows ever captured, with such great sound quality. A true historical piece too...enjoy!

When I was in 12th grade, we went to the airport to pick-up my new brother, from Germany. He would be part of our family for about a year. He got off the plane with his clothes and a Böhse Onkelz(Bad Uncles) cassette. We bonded instantly, drank the warm 'bier', that I had under my bed and loaded his cassette into the dual recorder, for copying. Today, I am still listening to B.O. incidentally, we still talk everyday, through memes and whatnot.

Here is the tape he brought and the song that still gets me going:

Today, I put this on repeat, 10 times + I have Kölsch Cologne bier and the time is right.

The lyrics are very cool, if you dig deep, you will not be sorry.
