SLO Surfer w/The Tipsy Gypsies at CIP, 7/20/18

Years ago we went to watch them excavate the 10 Commandments movie set for a bit. Dinner at Far Westen that night was their fabulous fresh raw veggie tray followed by a pound and a half of ribeye heaven. I loved that place.
Ha! They actually unveiled some new artifacts excavated from the 10 Commandments set when we were playing there this past Saturday!

If you haven't been to Jocko's Steakhouse in Nipomo, then you need to stop what you are doing right now and go to there. The history of Jocko's dates back to 1838, and the current restaurant building was built in 1962, so unless you're REALLLLLLLY old, it was there, or across the street from there. There's some free live music next Friday if you're looking for something else to do on your trip up to visit Jocko's. ;)

I didn't know about Jocko's. I guess it was a little too far South of Paso Robles for the word to get around. I lived there before the internet era. I will remember Jocko's for the next time I make it up to the central coast. I also need to make it back to the Great American Fish Company. Oh crap, now I'm getting hungry.
