St. Vincent tour gear?

On my way back from Bexhill-on-Sea gig. An unexpectedly "unplugged" version of the tour which turned out brilliant. My daughters and I loved it.

It also produced an interesting variation on a classic guitar forum question. "All of your tour gear is being locked into a container on its way to Europe and you can only save one bass for the final UK gig. Which one do you save?" You chose the Beatle bass. I'm curious how you made the decision?

Glad you dug the show, we had fun. It was interesting putting together a last minute show like this on all rental gear while our truck hurried up to Roskilde. So yeah, this isn't my bass, it was rented for me. Just needed something sort of ideal for that kind of presentation overall. Could have been a Mustang or P too, I guess. I was just feeling a Hofner for the slightly more intimate vibe. No huge thought process.

That was all last minute? Doubly impressive. And sounds like my daughter might have won our debate about bass choice. I had various tone theories. Her suggestion was "probably because it looks a bit like an acoustic" :)
