thanks- what is the slightly unusual connections on the left side of the tuner?
I am still missing the Noble. So .. I am left with a gigantic hole on my board and I have already made the cables to the right length. So I am left with my circuit opened where there should be the Noble.
Instead, I made a female/female jack cable to bypass that hole

I relly appreciae the thoughtful research, time, money, and commitment you are devoting to this project.

If you have applied a similar approach to your bass playing, I bet you are a slammer!

Surely I am not the only TBer who wants to know what all these pedals are and why you chose them. Tell us!

Can you also share the outside diameter of the complete cable with the housing AND the heat shrink tubing?
Seems that some of the straight jacks have different size holes to accommodate different size wires. thanks again

I will take the time to get into the details of how to make it yourself a bit later. Sory, life is busy recently ..

Do you have a small angled power cable for the Noble yet?
Well seen, I am of course going to struggle with the Noble :) I have about 40/43mm to install an IEC13 connector.
Problem 1 : A regular IEC connector won't fit.
Problem 2 : I have 2 units to power with only 1 power socket outside of my board.

I will make a Y connection myself so that, from the outside of the Pedalboard, I still have to plug one IEC13 to CEE7/7 chord.

From the inside, that's much more complex.
I need an IEC14 socket (Furutech FI06) to which I will connect 2 power cables (Furutech AG314 AGII2).

One will be connected to a FI11 and go into my DESS MP12 power supply.

The other will be connected to a Furutech FI12L angled connector to the Noble.

I do not consider I will gain anything from boutique power cables and hifi connectors. At this point, this is purely an over expensive decision motivated by the visual appeal of the pedalboard. From a functional point of view, there are much better option to achieve the same functionality and the same level of sound quality for much less.

I also feel the same about Jack DC connectors that are often way too long and look bad, but no solution fit my needs at the moment.

I have a similar approach to bass playing too. I have played by ear during 16 years, now I am learning music theory. 30 to 45 minutes, 4-5 times a week for the past 8 months or so. My aim is to be able to improvise Jazz music. If you can do Jazz, you can do anything. Keys, modes, inversions..

I ll make videos about each pedal, how they sound, why I chose such effect and why this pedal and not another one :)

I ll post my answer here as it may be interesting for someone else :

Monorail Cable + MDPCX sleeve + MDPCX heat shrink = 5,88 mm

Sometimes it is hard to get it to fit, especially with straight connectors. If your heat shrink is not perfectly applied and in the right order, it won't work. It's not easy at all but it is doable

2 solutions could be implemented : using SP600 connectors, that tolerate wider diameters, but the connectors are much larger ; or using more flexible cables like Sommer Cable's Onyx. To be exact, SC Onyx will tolerate to be compressed. Monorail won't. On the other hand, monorail is VERY easy to solder. Sommer cables are slightly less handy.

For angled connectors, it works very well provided you cut the sleeve and the shrink to the right length. If both are too long, you won't close the connector. I ll make a diagram with measurements so that you don't have to struggle finding the right lengths.

A couple of years ago, I bought a PC on ebay because I needed a few of the components, yet the entire PC was cheaper than those components solo. It came in a micro case where the PSU was mounted sideways. To get the power cable there, they used an IEC cable with the smallest angled connector I've ever seen.
That one went into that box you all have. Or is yours a shopping bag? A drawer? The thing that is stuffed with cables too good to throw away. After all, you never know ... you might find yourself in the dire need to urgently connect a Nokia 6230 to a fax machine at some time in the future.
When I put the Noble on the board, I remembered that cable.

As I said, it would work pretty well although I don't have any spare angled IEC that looks as short as yours. But I need a custom solution :

- Regular IEC from the power outlet to the socket outside my pedalboard
- From under the pedalboard, 2 power cables leave the same socket (wires are soldered together and isolated with glued heat shrink)
1. one goes to my MP12 power supply
2. the second goes to the Noble

This way I have ONE power chord to my pedalboard, not two.

I can't just use any regulare IEC cable, unless I have 2, cut them in the middle to get rid of the CEE7/7 connector and connect them both to the power socket. It would work great but won't look amazing on this board.

On my board, I have an IEC pass-through. From the outside, it's a single socket in the sidewall. on the inside it's a plug. That is connected to a Y cable like this:

One prong goes into my Cioks, the other meets the cable that goes into the Noble.
Would work 100%.
But I find it ugly.

As stated above, I am too deep into the "Best of everything pedalboard" that I don't want to use cheap molded cables.
