Now what had started this was the bridge pickup not working when the knob was turned to only the bridge pickup. So since I do not know what I'm doing when it comes to working on a preamp board I decided to just put the preamp back in. I then plugged it in and everything works as it should. So my guess is something must be loose in the pre or one of the wires leading to the bridge pickup. Of course you knowledgeable guys probably have other ideas!

Could totally be the case that something worked loose over time and it ended up back where it needed to be. I've seen it happen before!

It's been pretty quiet around here, so I thought I would stir up a November Cirrus Thanksgiving celebration.

The Cirrus recently rotated to the top of the pile. With four basses, the rotation takes about three months, maybe more. So it's been quite a while with the Dingwalls and lots of guitar time.

I'm not digging the DR Dragonskins nickel .040 set on my Dingwall, so instead of changing the new set out and admitting the Dragonskins are a bust, I turned to the Cirrus.

What an amazing bass it is. Batteries are still good after all these months, the strings are well used but cleaned D'Addario nickel XL .035, super lights.
Set up is still perfect, it barely needed to be tuned.

This one is was a case queen when I bought it in 2016, and she's still in pristine shape. Every time I pull it out of the case, I'm stoked all over again!

Very proud to boast I'm a new owner of a beautiful 2006 US Peavey Cirrus Bubinga 4 string! It didn't come with strap locks, so I'm seeking the wisdom of this group. What specific strap lock product do I need to buy that will be compatible with the original hardware? Or do I just need to buy a new strap lock combo kit and install the new strap buttons?

Dunlop. You won't need new strap pins.
