Do you have a Canadian distributor?
I'd like to get one but I live in Montreal and I don't know any store that sells Trace amps.

Hey Fred, I'm still curious to hear audio clips of the supposed "overdrive" circuit in effect. Please post when that exists.

On the Elf? Or The Transit - we should have both put together soon. On the Elf basically what we are doing is releasing the compressor when the gain knob is turned clockwise 100% up. It's a cool feature on the ELF, but you'll get a better result with the Transit because you have more control over the blend of the overdrive and clean signal.
I was referring to the ELF. Thanks for the response. I'll keep my ears open for examples from both products.
I'm so hugely excited. Hoping the price points are similar in £ as to the $. Thanks for your inputs Fred!!!
I don't need an ELF. I don't need the problem of trying to remember which bass case I stashed it in last.

TB where everyone beats up on 4x10 cabs. 4x10 cabs were the standard for a long time. I still remember when everyone wanted a Hartke 4x10

OMG!!! I gigged with a GP7SM for 20 years and I miss that sweet Trace sound. The ELF and 2X8 cab look like a great rig for club gigs. Time to start saving up!
well, i went ahead and pulled the trigger! i sold off some old gear i wasn't using and pre-ordered my new ELF from Sweetwater just a few minutes ago! the wait for this thing is going to be insanely terrible
Got to say i'm really interested in the 2x8 with the elf. May be selling the carvin mb115 and ext. Cab to finance. If i can find them in stores.

Awesome we appreciate it - The ELF is in production now, won't be too much longer I hope. Sorry for the delay it'll be worth your wait.
Fred, I would seriously be interested in getting the Elf and combining it with a 2 x 8 and/or a 1 x 10... I was even considering building my own 2 x 8 for my EUB gigs, please stop me! And please ask someone to update the website when possible, I almost blew right past it when I couldn't see any cabs on it. Now that I see the NAMM(?) pics, I am making purchase plans! I just pre-ordered the Elf 200, fingers crossed on the cabs!

Sorry for a little nitpick but is there any chance the real TE logo will appear on the Bass Transit? I know it was mentioned in another thread.
