Maybe if he'd have built more basses before now, he might have figured out that broken truss rods should be easily replaceable sometime before now.

Damn this dude was ahesd with his quality and design 20 years ago. Now, even if he was all caught up, there is simply better.
Darrin was inspired by Carl Thompson, so now I'm wondering whether CT basses have replaceable truss rods.
I sure hope that you or one of the long time wait listers get's an email saying that a bass is on the way from him soon.
I can't wait to see his progress on the scroll basses.
Dude spends more time staging tools for pictures then building anything...

I think he posts these staged photos in an attempt to deflect his indolence.
