Brian - I know how you feel - at Jazz Summer school recently (Trinity College London) the band I was in for a week, had several youngsters who were pretty good - the drummer was 19 but was great on everything we did!

New thread and I still can't get a normal-looking gig...

I once lost a bet in a competition of who had played the weirdest gig to a guy that had played a gig for a "Dog wash" in a parking lot that was only acoustic bass and drums. So... next time you need a sub, please give me a call! LOL
