Which pickguard??

Red looks cool...I would probably do a black pearloid (just a matter of preference).

i don't like either of them on that color bass, but if i had to choose, i'd pick the brown because it doesn't stand out as much. i like tort, but not on that color or most greens.

Red tort + buy an identical bass and keep the brown tort on it. And then love them both.

Personally I prefer blk/wht/blk....but seeing as how that is not a choice...I say Brown...because (at least by the photos) it lets the clay dots pop out more.

I nearly broke my mousewheel scrolling back and forth, back and forth. My original gut feeling went for the red but the brown grew on me. I'd have to say brown.

Matte black 3-ply is nice, too. It's a slicker look than gloss black... makes a vintage bass look like it's got a slight modern quality.

I just picked up a guard from Chandler Music. They make terrific products.
